Best Themed Table Service Restaurants At Disney World

Guests staying at a Disney resort are able to book dining reservations sixty days ahead of their check in date. Many popular reservations fill up immediately. To make the most of your dining experience you'll want to do a little research ahead of time and be prepared with a list of the reservations you would like to secure.
Here are my top picks for best themed table service restaurant by park.
Magic Kingdom: Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Location: Adventureland
Theming: Themed after the Jungle Cruise ride with 3 quirky dining rooms and menu items and servers loaded with pun type humor.
Food: Many items can be spicy. Expect bold, flavorful cuisine of Asia, South America and Africa
Pro Tip: This is a hidden gem. Walk up dining is sometimes available and reservations are easier to get than may other locations. Be sure to order the secret menu item, Brazilian cheese bread, it's delicious. On a hot day, this is a great spot to grab an appetizer and some drinks.
Hollywood Studios: Sci Fi Dine-In Theater

Location: Commissary Lane
Theming: 50's style drive-in theater with sci-fi movie clips, most tables are 50's style car shaped booths.
Food: All-American , burgers, shakes, fries, onion rings, pastas and salads
Pro Tip: Reservations for this one generally go pretty quickly. Make this reservation as early as possible for best availibility. If you would like to sit at a car booth, be sure to mention this when you check in for your reservation. There is a walk up list. Reservations are given priority for car booth tables. If you do get on the walk up list, you are more likely to be at a table.
Epcot: Space 220

Location: World Discovery
Theming: Dine in a space station and enjoy a panorama view of space. When you arrive you enter a space elevator where you take a simulated ride 220 miles above Epcot to the dining room.
Food: Pre-fixe modern American cuisine, lunch is a 2 course meal and dinner is a 3 course meal. Food and drinks are space themed.
Pro Tip: The food here is great, but one of the pricier locations to eat. Space 220 does have a lounge that offers a la carte menu, but seating is very limited and reservations go very fast.
Animal Kingdom: Yak & Yeti

Location: Asia
Theming: Himalayan village, travel artifacts, feels like an extension of Expedition Everest
Food: pan-Asian
Pro Tip: This is a popular restuarant, reservations go quickly, so be sure to reserve this one as soon a you can. The appetizers here are really good, you can order a few to share and make this your meal. The Ahi Tuna Nachos are one of my favorite food items in all of Disney. The lettuce cups are also very good.
